About LAURA

Travelling the world is a bit of an obsession of mine. I’m close to hitting a major milestone of travelling to 100 countries, with no plans to stop just yet.

But travel is only part of my story.

I’m also a passionate primary teacher, with 24 years of experience teaching and leading teams. I love learning, discovering new places and people, and finding ways to make life a little more interesting, meaningful and fun.

I have a real interest in self-discovery and self-awareness, and I've spent many years learning more about myself, building my confidence and figuring out what really matters to me. Like most people, life hasn't always been easy, and some of my biggest challenges have ended up shaping who I am today.

I’m a huge believer in making dreams a reality rather than waiting for the “right” time. Life doesn't have to be complicated or extravagant to be beautiful. Sometimes it's about travelling somewhere new, trying something that scares you, having a great coffee, watching the sunset, laughing with people you love or simply appreciating where you are.
