True Self Profile - Jillian

This month we continue with featuring our true self profiles. Each month an amazing human being will share with us their personal stories and tips on how to live your best life. This month we kick it off with an inspiring interview with the incredible Jillian.

Over to Jillian…

Hi! I'm Jillian and I've been an entrepreneur for the past decade. I left my fashion buying job in corporate America back in 2012 to follow my dreams of owning my own business. Shortly thereafter, I started Sweet & Spark, a feminine lifestyle brand selling vintage accessories and contemporary women's clothing and I serendipitously met a business partner about halfway into the journey and together we were able to expand the company to include luxury accessories like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, etc. as well as open two stores in California, one in San Francisco and the other in Los Angeles. We recently made the tough decision to close the entire company and I've pivoted into business and life coaching! It's been so rewarding to help others after the experience I had and I'm loving it!

You can find me on Instagram @jillian.bremer and/or on my website jillianbremer.com sharing my story, what I'm learning, and all the things that light me up in the world of fashion and vintage!

What gives your life meaning and purpose?

I've found great purpose in learning how to love and nurture myself. To allow myself to feel everything and not get too attached to anything.

Tell us your favourite stress release practice

My favorite thing about living in California is the easy access to nature. It's so easy to change your perspective on life when you're hiking up a mountain or spending time by the ocean. Being in the great outdoors feels so expansive and reminds me of our limitless human potential! Anytime I'm feeling lost, I take it outside!

What has been a life-defining moment for you?

Entrepreneurship is more of a personal journey than anything so I would say that finding the courage to leave corporate America and follow my dreams has been one of the biggest defining moments of my life. Also, learning how to manage funding and cash flow for a start-up has had its teaching moments too!

When were you last still?

Such a great question! I try to meditate a few times a week (I love guided ones by Joe Dispenza and Sarah Blondin). Also, recently I've been doing weekly energy healing sessions with Before Noon, a virtual self-care club, and they've been really supportive too.

Who are you currently learning the most from?

I've been a student of Lacy Phillips, To Be Magnetic Program for almost three years now and I'm so inspired by her practical Manifestation principles and tools. Studying and applying them to my experiences has helped me completely transform my life! You can join her program for a low monthly rate and she also has a weekly podcast that I never miss an episode of!

What is your best life tip for others?

You are a powerful co-creator of your life and the more conscious you become of that principle, the more confident you become in choosing higher states of being like, love, freedom, peace, joy, bliss, etc. You get to decide who you are, what you want and why. The universe is responsible for delivering on the rest- the when, where and how!

When are you at your happiest?

Just being me, doing whatever I'm inspired to do at that moment without any limiting beliefs from my mind sabotaging it :)

What is getting priority in your life right now?

My new business and life coaching company! I've come to learn that business is not actually the hard part, it's the mind that we need to overcome in order to achieve our goals and dreams.

How can we make a difference in the world?

By taking personal responsibility to heal our generational trauma and survival patterns (fear, guilt, anger, shame, grief) instead of projecting them onto others and relying on external factors for safety. Building a new earth starts with each and every one of us.

Outline a perfect morning routine for us

In bed with a hot cup of coffee in one hand and a non-fiction book in the other!

Thank you so much Jillian for sharing. Good luck with your business and life coaching. Helping others is a great feeling.
